Dear Street,
I enclose a copy of a memorandum on the
resignation of Commander Haslewood, which I have received from Mr.Harold Begbie, together with a copy
of the reply which I propose to send. As Mr.Be.Die
is a con picuous publicist, it seems necessary to
reasoned
deal in a xecnoty manner with his allegations.
Paragraphs 6 to 10 of Mr.Begbie's
memorandum, which deal directly with the circum- stances of commander Raslewood's resignation, should I think be dealt with by the Admiralty. Would you, therefore, let me know whather yu conour in pararæt
8 of my letter to Mr.Begöle?
Yours sincerely,
E.M.
